Add a phone or tablet to your till by scanning a code.
A busy shop is rarely one till. CEMAC POS lets you run several phones and tablets against the same business, so two cashiers can serve two queues while a manager checks reports on a third device. Adding one is a matter of scanning a code, not calling for support.
Pairing by QR code
On a device that is already signed in, you generate a pairing QR code. On the new phone or tablet, you scan it, and the device is enrolled to your shop and its outlet. The code carries the enrolment, so there is no long token to type out on a small keyboard and no chance of joining the wrong business by mistake.
What paired devices share
- One catalogue, so a price changed on any device is the price everywhere.
- Live stock, so a sale on one till lowers the quantity the others see.
- The same staff accounts, so cashiers can sign in on any paired device.
- One sales history, all flowing into the same tamper-evident ledger.
Built for patchy connections
Each paired device is fully offline-capable in its own right. If the shop's internet falters, every device keeps selling from its local copy, and their sales sync back and merge when the link returns. Sales are append-only and idempotent on a client-minted identifier, so a device that reconnects and re-sends never creates a duplicate sale.
Because syncing goes through the safe push path that dedupes on each sale's own identifier, a flaky connection or a retried upload cannot double-count takings across your paired devices.
When a device is lost, sold or simply retired, you can remove it from the shop so it can no longer act on your data. Pairing is something you grant and revoke, keeping the list of what can touch your business firmly in your hands.
