Everything to get started with CEMAC POS. Available in French and English.

Getting started

  1. Create your shop (30-day free trial).
  2. Add your products / services and, if needed, your categories.
  3. Install the app on mobile (PWA) or PC, then start selling.

Ringing up a sale

Add items to the cart, apply a discount if needed, pick the customer (optional, for loyalty), take payment and print the receipt. A completed sale is immutable; a mistake is corrected by voiding and re-issuing.

Payments

Cash, MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money and card. Split tender (several methods on one sale) is supported. Offline, the payment is recorded and reconciled on the next sync.

Loyalty programme

Customers earn points based on what they spend (rate configurable per shop) and redeem them for discounts. The balance and history are visible on the customer record.

Offline & sync

CEMAC POS works with no Internet on mobile (PWA) and PC. Sales and edits are queued locally, then sent once the network is back. Sales are append-only (never a conflict); everything else uses last-write-wins with a conflict log.

Thermal printing

ESC/POS receipts for 58mm and 80mm printers, bilingual and carrying the shop's own name. WebUSB / Bluetooth on mobile, the native driver on PC.

Fiscal compliance

Every invoice is hash-chained for a tamper-evident audit trail, and every sale generates SYSCOHADA accounting entries. Real-time transmission to the DGI switches on via the fiscal adapter once the specification is published.

Roles & shops

Roles: owner, manager, cashier. The Opesware super-admin oversees every shop, their teams, customers and subscriptions.
